Itineraries

Day 1

Living Ghats Walk

We begin at dawn with a slow walk along selected ghats, observing how Kashi wakes up — bathing rituals, prayers, laundry, boating, quiet conversations, and preparation for the day. The focus is on understanding the role of each ghat and how daily life, ritual, and work coexist naturally along the river.

Day 2

Living Ghats Walk (Extended)

An extended exploration of the ghats from morning into late afternoon. We trace changing activities — from ritual to commerce to rest — and understand how the same spaces transform through the day. The walk ends before evening crowds build, allowing observation without spectacle.
